The American College of Orgonomy is hosting a free webinar on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 11:00AM to 12:00PM (ET) as part of its Case Presentation Series. Dee Apple, Ph.D. will present “The Legalization of Marijuana: What Parents and Teens Need to Know” in a discussion with interviewer/host Susan Marcel, D.O.
Marijuana legalization for adults (ages 21 and over) does not change the fact that marijuana use is both illegal and very harmful for teens. Using marijuana can significantly impact a teen’s developing brain, leading to problems with learning, attention, addiction, increased risk for mental health issues and much more.
Join us for a compelling case presentation designed to educate parents and teens about the consequences of marijuana legalization. We will also demonstrate marijuana’s impact on the developing adolescent’s brain and how it interferes with healthy emotional and social expression. We encourage an open, factual dialogue about the risks and consequences of its use.
During the presentation, you will have the opportunity to submit questions privately using Zoom’s Q&A function. Questions will be addressed after the presentation. Please note that as an attendee, you will not be visible or heard on screen, and you can choose to submit a question anonymously.
