A New Way to Support the ACO

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower” – Albert Camus

September 26, 2017

Dear Friend of Orgonomy:

With the first days of autumn now upon us, I am excited to tell you about our new ACO Living Campus Project. As you may know, over the past several years we have made an incredible amount of progress improving our Princeton campus by removing “detractors” (old outbuildings, swimming pool, tree stumps, brush, etc.) and making improvements. After much hard work, we are thankfully now at the point where our property is looking shipshape and we can begin adding “attractors.” What better way to start than by adding new life to our landscape with trees? Keeping Cool Summer Fundraiser Update - November 9, 2017

Dear Friend of Orgonomy,

With autumn in the air, I am pleased to let you know that thanks to the generosity of our supporters, our Keeping Cool Summer Fundraiser made great progress, raising a total of $14,245 toward our fundraising goal of $22,606. These funds have been put toward expenses incurred for our new whole-house ductless air conditioning system. Since we still need to raise an additional $8,361 to meet our goal, the fundraiser will remain live on our website through the end of November for anyone who would still like to contribute.

Please keep an eye out for future information about other ways to support the College including our ongoing ACO Living Campus Project (see above) which was announced in October.

I look forward to seeing you at the many events we are now able to hold on our campus thanks to our donors and volunteers who have been so supportive of our projects dedicated to improving our Princeton home.

Sincerely,

Dear Friend of Orgonomy,

The dog days of summer are upon us and we are happy to report that thanks to a new, state-of-the-art ductless air conditioning system installed last fall in our main building, the ACO campus is as cool as a cucumber!

The progress made by our Property Improvement Project over the past several years has allowed us to hold more of our events at home on our campus, but that also meant that during our summer events, all of our old window unit air conditioners were running at once. It was never comfortable enough; it was difficult for attendees to hear presenters over the noise; and old and inefficient electrical circuits were often tripped.

During our training seminars on weekends, trainees were either too hot or too cold, and during the week second-floor office conditions for our staff were equally uncomfortable. But those days are gone since the installation of our new, energy efficient, whisper-quiet Mitsubishi Ductless air conditioning system throughout the building. The units in each room are individually controlled and have temperature and timer settings to increase energy efficiency. The units also function as heat-pumps which will be of great help in the winter when our radiators are taking their time warming up.

Of course, improvement and efficiency comes at a price. Rather than using existing donated funds from our Property Improvement Project account that will be critical for future improvement and expansion, we hope you will contribute to our Keeping Cool Summer Fundraiser.

Our fundraising goal is $22,606 which will cover costs as follows:

- Two 2-ton Mitsubishi outside condenser units, six indoor wall unit evaporators,
including labor: $18,476
- Additional electrical work to install new circuitry: $2,230
- Removal of old wall unit air conditioners and drywall repair: $900

Finally, to complete the project, we will need to install one additional ductless unit to replace the remaining window air conditioner located at the front of our main building: estimated cost $1,000

This is a very important project and we would appreciate your financial support. Any donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. It is only with your generous help that we can continue to make strides in improving our campus and sharing what we have to offer to the world.

The ACO is a 501c3 non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible. You may send your donation to us at the address below, call our office staff at (732) 821-1144, or donate securely by clicking the DONATE button above.

From all of us at the ACO, I wish you and yours an enjoyable summer and I hope to see you in the near future at one of the many events at our home.
